Welcome to Church Translation! 👋

We’re here to help you break down language barriers and ensure every member of your congregation feels at home. Church Translation leverages advanced AI to provide real-time, multilingual support for your services.

The platform is built on two simple components:

  • The Admin App: Where the magic happens. This is used by your media team to capture audio and generate real-time translations.

  • The Mobile App: Where your congregation connects. Members can join the service from their own devices to listen to the sermon in their preferred language.

👨‍🏫 How It Works

The system follows a simple path from the pulpit to the person in the seat:

  1. Capture: A laptop or mobile device "listens" to the sermon.

  2. Process: Our AI understands your speech and translates it into multiple languages simultaneously.

  3. Deliver: Visitors hear the message in their native tongue on their own devices.

🎯 Key Features at a Glance

We aim to empower your church by removing barriers and simplifying the tech:

  • Real-Time Translation: With minimum delay, the entire congregation can laugh, pray, and reflect together at the exact same moment.

    • Dictate Mode (speech-to-text): The most popular option. Our AI "listens" to the preacher live and translates the spoken word on the fly.

    • Type Mode: If you prefer to manually transcribe the sermon, a staff member or volunteer can type directly into the system to provide the source text for translation.

    • Prepared Text: Mid-week, you can upload your full sermon script. During the service, simply "trigger" each section to send it to the congregation in their language.

  • Multiple Language Streams: Support for as many target languages as your community needs.

  • Crystal-Clear Audio: High-quality speech-to-text technology ensures the nuances and heart of your sermon are preserved.

  • Keyword Booster: Add up to 100 to 1,000 keywords or phrases — biblical names, theological terms, or words your church uses — so the AI spells them the way you do. The exact limit depends on the language you dictate in, and the Keyword Booster page tells you yours.

  • Livestream Integration: Visitors watching from home can view your livestream alongside live translations in their selected language.

  • Service Archive: Access a complete archive of all your church services across every language you’ve translated.

  • Announcements: Write a notice once in your own language, and every visitor reads it in theirs.

  • Easy Guest Signup: Visitors join effortlessly using Google/Apple Sign-in, a quick Sign-in Code, or by simply scanning a QR code.

  • Real-Time Insights: See "Who is online" and track in real-time which languages are being used by your multilingual congregation.

  • Ease of Access: No specialized hardware or rented headsets—just a smartphone and a pair of headphones.

🙋 Frequently Asked Questions

No. Every new church starts with 50,000 free characters of translation, shared across every language you activate — roughly one full one-hour service in one language — and you do not need to add a payment method to sign up. Nothing is charged until you pass that free allowance, and translation pauses and asks you before it ever does.

We use a usage-based model: $0.01 per 150 characters per language — shown in your own currency at checkout. A typical 1-hour service costs approximately $3.33 per language.

(Simple, Usage-Based Pricing)

No. Our model is purely usage-based. If your church takes a break or doesn't use the service for a few weeks, you pay $0. There are no monthly "maintenance" fees.

We believe the Gospel should be accessible to all. If our standard pricing is a barrier for your ministry, please reach out via our chat—we are happy to lower the rate or offer the service for free.

(Our Commitment to Your Mission)

Please checkout the Language Support Overview to find out about the available Dictate, Translation and Audio Output languages.

We support both! Visitors can read the smooth, scrolling text or enable Text-to-Speech to listen to the translation through their own headphones.

You can use the Keyword Booster to pre-define the names and terms your church uses. This tells the AI exactly how to spell biblical names, Greek or Hebrew terms, and words specific to your church. How many you can add depends on which language you dictate in — the Keyword Booster page shows your limit and counts down as you add.

We provide a ready-made list of biblical keywords for Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish — click "Load default keywords" to add it.

No. We prioritize your privacy. The audio is processed in real-time for translation and is never saved on our servers. While the translated text is saved in your archive for your convenience, you have full control to delete it at any time.

Yes, an active internet connection is required for both the "Dictation Station" (the device capturing the audio) and the visitors receiving the translation. We recommend providing a guest Wi-Fi network to ensure everyone can connect easily.

No. Unlike traditional radio-frequency hardware which is limited by the number of headsets you own, our software-based approach allows your translation to scale to hundreds or even thousands of listeners simultaneously.

Yes. While dialects are naturally more complex than standard "High" languages, our engine is trained to understand all local dialects.
